The Marketing Analyst supports marketing initiatives by identifying trends and leveraging data sources to provide analysis and KPI reporting with actionable insights. Using technical and business acumen, this person seeks to elevate performance measurement by understanding the customer journey and recognizing optimization opportunities across marketing touch points. This individual will be integral in transforming the way the business consumes and reacts to customer data.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Synthesize data to understand the marketing funnel and identify growth opportunities across channels including digital, email, ecommerce, and lead generation campaigns
  • Create dashboards that clearly communicate KPI's for acquisition and retention
  • Develop benchmarks and measure performance across marketing channels to optimize ROI and customer LTV
  • Identify data correlations to enhance audience segmentation and targeting plans
  • Build reports for key metrics, analyze and interpret trends to provide actionable insights based on analytics data
  • Interpret A/B testing results and provide recommendations that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness across segments to guide future marketing strategies and budgets
  • Enforce data integrity and accuracy in all reporting across data sources
  • Utilize web analytics tools with a high degree of skill and understanding as it relates to web metrics, site analysis, user experience, conversion and marketing promotions productivity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, with the ability to leverage story-telling skills and clearly communicate analytical information to stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, economics, or related field
  • 2-3 Years' experience in a quantitative role with experience in marketing analysis
  • B2B background preferred with experience analyzing lead generation and marketing funnel
  • Excited to build out reporting tools, dashboards and provide data-driven insights
  • Demonstrated capability in evaluating data to drive marketing strategy and support decision making in marketing programs
  • Excellent communication skills across levels and departments within an organization
  • Proven ability to solve problems, think critically, and present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
  • Experience with dashboard creation through BI tools such as Tableau or MS Power BI preferred
  • Able to work under pressure, manage frequent overlapping demands and show high attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the willingness to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Advanced Excel user with outstanding analytical skills and strong experience interpreting data
  • Experience with associated technologies/applications a plus: Salesforce, Marketo, Kentico, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, SQL, Power BI
