This is a position for a seasoned, high-energy, and driven Sales Consultant with strong knowledge of, and experience with, data analytics, business solutions, workflow and process oriented solutions, as well as identify the tools and software used and value-driven sales. We're seeking someone experienced in complex selling situations to both technical and non-technical customers as well as C-Level and other decision makers. You'll be selling advanced data and analytic solutions that empower organizations to solve process and workflow problems within the construction design and facilities maintenance divisions of Fortune 500 companies (Retail & Commercial). Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute territory/account sales plans for assigned geographic territory
  • Meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Work closely with internal engineering and data analytics teams to identify appropriate resources throughout the sales cycle
  • Deliver presentations/demonstrations highlighting the benefits, of RSMeans Data, Consulting and Analytic solutions
  • Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitive issues and products
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to capture business intelligence, articulate Gordian's value proposition, recommend appropriate solutions, and emphasize solution features and benefits
  • Maintain pipeline opportunities and log all activity in the designated customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of company solutions and competition in the market
  • Travel to customers and prospects within the territory as needed
  • Construction Design or Facilities Maintenance understanding a plus but not required

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and 8-10+ years' experience selling software and exceeding quotas
  • Experience selling analytics, data, databases, consulting, or business intelligence software
  • Experience selling to Fortune 500 and large enterprise customers
  • Demonstrated track record of developing new business and managing sales cycle from generating leads through closing to consistently achieve quota
  • Excellent written, oral communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
