About the Job:

The primary responsibilities of a Service Agent require the use of discretion to manage client insurance portfolios and deliver an exceptional service experience to all of our clients. This includes everything from servicing, billing, and maintenance of home and auto insurance policies, to complex additions and alterations of multimillion-dollar commercial accounts and risk portfolios. The Service Agent is also responsible for resolving client complaints, managing retention of accounts, preventing cancellations among clients, generating cross-sell leads and upselling coverage to existing clients. Associates work closely with senior management to develop the skills necessary to carry out these critical duties, as well as completing a training and licensing program.

Compensation is competitive including base salary and bonus. Current benefits include: 401(k) plan, disability, medical, dental and vision insurance, maternity leave, and two weeks paid vacation.

About You:

Having prior work experience in a fast-paced environment or being proficient (reading, writing, and conversing) in a secondary language, specifically Spanish are a plus. All candidates must be able to communicate fluently in English with clients, carriers, and referral partners in person and on the phone. You should also:

  • Demonstrate strong intellectual ability and sound, independent judgment
  • Have a passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
  • Have a college degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or previous business experience
  • Show evidence of organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
