Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with 2 or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.
  • 4 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language or in system design, and troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with technical consulting supporting enterprise customers with service-level objective and service-level agreement requirements.
  • Experience in product support.
  • Experience with cloud computing.

    As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will work to solve production issues on customer's business critical applications. You will be a part of a global team that provides support to help customers make the switch to Google Cloud. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers by debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and coding/scripting. You will make products easier to adopt and use by making improvements to the product, tools, processes, and documentation. You will also help drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating for customers' issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist, research, resolve, and de-escalate Google Cloud Platform customer issues.
    • Work with customers on their production Apigee deployments and partner with the engineering team to resolve issues, improve products based feedback, increase operational efficiency and Product Supportability, and achieve production readiness.
    • Develop an understanding of Google Apigee products/solutions/Cloud technology, architectures by reviewing, troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for diagnosis.
    • Work as part of a team of specialists and engineers that provide customer support with diagnosis, resolution, and documentation of investigation tools toincrease productivity for customer issues.
    • Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, or customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
