Senior Paralegal

The Trademark Paralegal will have experience providing operational support for a global trademark practice, and will be able to assist the attorneys with preparing and filing all prosecution and post-registration documents with the USPTO (e.g., applications, Office Action responses, Statements of Use, Extensions of Time, affidavits and renewals); communicating with clients to obtain information and acceptable specimens; managing small- and large-scale global brand management projects; preparing and transmitting instructions foreign associates; performing preliminary trademark searching and investigations; assisting in opposition and cancellation proceedings; propose and draft standard operating procedures related to trademark processes; train junior team members. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will take ownership and overall responsibility for the completeness and correctness of trademark files and data.RequirementsWe will require a bachelor’s or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience working in trademark practice. Candidates must have excellent organization and communication skills, and be capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
