The Reference Data Technology team is unusual in the breadth of exposure it offers to diverse GS businesses. Our applications and data tend to be integral to the innovation of new products and flows, new markets, and industry initiatives.   • Products & Pricing provides financial instrument and pricing data throughout Goldman Sachs. Externally, we face off to exchanges, clearing houses and vendors in all major growth & mature markets. Internally, we work with a wide diversity of teams from the business, operations and technology areas of the firm. Our team builds and implements rich business logic for sourcing, transforming and unifying securities data; and rules-based exception workflows. It is a complex and dynamic environment, in which we interface to hundreds of sources to enrich millions of securities, to support many hundreds of internal teams
  • Product and Pricing Reference Data Engineers focus on designing, developing and maintaining the global infrastructure which underpins Enterprise Reference Data at Goldman Sachs. Our central role in servicing the Firm's key data flows means that you will be involved at an early stage in the firm's strategic initiatives, and provides excellent opportunities for building broad investment banking knowledge, establishing relationships with colleagues throughout many key areas of the organization, and for gaining a global perspective on the workings of the firm.
  • We are presently in a period of major change, providing our team with opportunities to learn and to exercise creativity: both functionally and technically. We are running major transformation programs with a consortium of our peers, with the opportunity to drive substantial change both within GS and across our industry. And we are investing in the Division's platform strategy not only as foundational adopters, but as key contributors, having originated private cloud computing platforms such as DataStream and ServiceCloud, and building business platforms like DataFactory
