Technology - Operations Engineering - Post Execution SecDb Engineering - Associate - Salt Lake City

Our team of engineers builds solutions to the most complex problems. We develop cutting-edge systems and processes that form the core of our key business and enable transactions to move in milliseconds. We provide real-time access to critical deal information and crunch billions of data points each day to inform firm-wide market insights and strategies. Team members have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field.

SecDb forms the core of Goldman Sachs trading systems. The Post Execution Secdb Engineering team is a small but highly able team tasked with uplifting some of the key parts of SecDb. We own the trade model - the code that books and holds trades across the firm. We are heavily investing in this, both by improving legacy systems and rebuilding from scratch when we deem it necessary. Our aim is to significantly increase efficiency and scale, and reduce maintenance and complexity, by using modern programming techniques, tools, and ideas. We have already made some progress but we have a lot more to do and you would be joining at a key time, when decisions are being made and designs formed.

The Operations Division is the engine room that powers Goldman Sachs, and Operations Technology is driving their industrialization through automation, digitization and orchestration.
