Compliance Technology provides technology solutions to help Compliance manage the firm's regulatory and reputational risks, and enables them to advise and assist the firm's businesses.


The role involves analyzing and developing technical solutions to address regulations and policies in GSAM Compliance space. Primary responsibility include developing new applications and building surveillances using Compliance strategic architecture, enhancement and support of existing applications and work with Compliance users globally. The applications are developed in Java J2EE and latest technologies like REST, Elastic, DASH UI, Angular JS etc. Strong database and Unix skills are also required. GSAM Compliance Technology provides solutions to help Compliance manage the firm's regulatory and reputational risks, and enables them to advise and assist the firm's businesses. GSAM Compliance Technology fulfils this responsibility by building Compliance rules, surveillances and investigative applications to comply with all Firmwide and GSAM Policies and Procedures



  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Java development experience in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Strong SQL knowledge


  • Preferred Technologies: Scala, Spark, Elastic, Linux and shell scripting
  • Proficient at working with large and complex code bases
