RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Portfolio Transition Solutions Strat team work with large institutional investors (Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds) in the design and implementation of efficient transition strategies across Fixed-Income and Equities.

Transition Management is a strategic activity for the GS Pension & Insurance franchise. It generates Equity flow (program trading) and Corporate Credit and Government Bonds.

Responsibilities:

We are looking to add a member to our team and assist us in the entire lifecycle of transition projects : pitching, portfolio analysis, operational set-up, trade execution. Each transition requires a meticulous coordination involving multiple internal and external parties.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong quantitative, financial modelling, technical and problem-solving skills - mastery of Excel is essential
• Ability to interact with external parties and explain the underlying ideas to a non-technical audience

• Ability to work effectively with people and strong attention to detail



Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Structuring, Sales or Trading

• Experience of equity and/or fixed income products

• Basic Programming skill
