RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a professional to join the FICC Sales Strats team. This person will hold a key front-office role responsible for distributing and developing our platform for systematic hedging solutions for clients.
We are assembling a team that is building out an automated risk management offering with a focus on Passive Currency Overlay, and are interested in recruiting people who know what clients value to help with developing the product set and technology, as well as those who know how to sell these solutions to clients who particularly value operations/technology integration. We work directly with colleagues across structuring, trading, and sales on projects with high commercial impact across the FICC asset classes.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
The role will cover the full spectrum of delivering systematic hedging solutions, working with the relevant sales and trading teams on marketing and pitching the offering, onboarding/integrating clients, front-office modelling/back testing, legal documentation and product development.
The key will be using understanding of client requirements, FX markets and the GS platform capabilities to identify commercial opportunities and present solutions to clients.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Understanding of financial markets and concepts (FX markets and FX hedging experience in particular valuable).
- Experience in distributing electronic platforms.
- Knowledge of systematic/passive currency hedging solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact.
