The Desk is a secondary market-maker in stressed, distressed and special situation credit within the Securities Division. We provide liquidity to banks and institutional investors across a range of public and private instruments including bonds, CDS, loans, and claims focused on the EMEA region. We are a highly-integrated, collaborative team across trading, research, bank, and institutional sales. Our risk management is grounded in fundamental analysis and open communication.

Role and Responsibilities: The role involves identifying, analyzing, and managing trading opportunities across industries and throughout the capital structure. Analysts are required to perform fundamental analysis based on strong accounting, valuation, and financial modelling skills in support of trade ideas. In addition, strong written and oral communication of analytical conclusions and current events to clients and other team members will be critical.

- Minimum 3 years' work experience in sales & trading, corporate or investment banking, and/ or investment management

- The role requires prior experience in financial modeling and financial statement analysis

- Ideal candidate has a demonstrated interest (including personal investing) and aptitude for evaluating and recommending trade ideas

- Fluency in a European language other than English desirable
