What We Do

Our team is a fundamental part of the Listed Derivatives and Clearing groups which form part of the Prime Services business within the Securities Division. We drive major business decisions and run business critical systems in the following areas: Collateral Management, Client Analytics, Funding, and Capital. In this entrepreneurial role, we balance our time between building large, scalable platforms and systems and providing analysis and advice to the Desk. Our team has a direct impact on key revenue streams for the group and provides analytics that help guide business leaders' decision making.

Your Impact

If you are looking for a high impact position allowing you to fully leverage your strong quantitative, programming and communication skills, then our team is the ideal opportunity for you. You will build systems and platforms, identify new revenue opportunities and help execute on them while working closely with Sales, Trading and senior management. You will establish and build on existing partnerships with colleagues across the Securities Division and the Finance Division. You will enjoy a role that rewards multi-tasking, initiative and strong execution. You will not only have a direct impact on key revenue streams within Prime Services business, but also have the chance to realize additional revenue opportunities.


As a member of this team, you will be expected to have a broad understanding of equities, fixed income and commodity markets and will gain detailed knowledge of the revenue and capital drivers of the Listed Derivatives and Clearing businesses. You will enhance systems for efficiently managing collateral; develop client analytics platforms and use them to identify client and business-wide revenue opportunities; provide trends and factor analysis across client portfolios; and develop Capital and Funding models. At the same time, you will implement new or extend existing models to enable new activity and onboard new markets and clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/MS or PhD in a relevant field - Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Finance
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Java, Python or equivalent language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver results quickly
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 or more years' experience in a quantitative role
  • Familiarity in probability and advanced statistics
  • A track record of solving quantitative problems and delivering results in a high-pressure environment
