The Securities Lending Team is seeking a professional who will learn about how the various regulatory obligations that govern the industry impact trade flows.OUR IMPACT

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.The Securities Lending Operations team supports the Stock Loan and Lending business which has trading desks in London and Boston and is active in 35 markets in Asia, Europe and the Americas. The operations grou is responsible for all risk management functions; including loan settlement, collateral maintenance, daily reconciliations, coordination of asset servicing events, client cash activity, and the recall and buy-in processes.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Execute the mark-to-market process for all non-US securities to reduce counterparty credit exposure
  • Ensure non-US securities are properly collateralized prior to loan delivery
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external counterparties including borrowing brokers and custodian banks
  • Liaise with the Stock Loan Trading Desk to ensure accuracy of trades and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Generate daily cash flow estimates to clients and analyze intraday movements/variances
  • Coordinate the settlement/delivery of trades in markets throughout the Americas
  • Partner with cross-Operations groups including Treasury and Global Control to facilitate the securities lending collateral and cash management processes
  • Work with Client Relationship Management team to resolve ad hoc client queries

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Self-Starter – Motivation to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to work in a time constrained environment and execute to meet deadlines
