Market Data License Analyst

The Market Data Vendor Management team at Goldman Sachs are responsible for negotiating all data licensing and commercial terms with third party vendors. The team coordinate directly with internal business sponsors on data requirements; legal counsel for defining contractual terms; Technology Risk, Compliance and the Vendor Management Office to ensure vendor solutions meet Firm policies and Standards; Divisional and Technology Leadership for budgetary approvals and signings.
The successful candidate will join a global team of ten people responsible for over four hundred vendor relationships. The market data team is based in the Americas, EMEA and Asia, along with vendors and exchanges located across those regions. As the primary representative for Firm, you will be accountable for maintaining the Firm's reputation with our suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW WILL YOU FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Identifying and interpreting contract usage rights
- Parsing usage rights into a fixed data model for upload
- Mapping of licenses to underlying ticker codes
- Other task associated with Licensing Project
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Confident verbal and written communicator, able to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders
- Able to work effectively and prioritise work efficiently both independently and as part of our global team
- 5 years minimum experience of vendor management
- General understanding of market data licensing terms
- Useful experience of the MDSL MDM inventory system
