ABOUT THE TEAM:

The solutions group within legal is looking for a candidate to help drive and deliver strategies and technologies to re-imagine and transform the department and the businesses it supports across the firm. Projects focus on improving workflows through re-engineering, enabling management with data driven decision making capabilities and applying strategic technologies and solutions. This team is also responsible for firmwide cross divisional regulatory re-papering initiatives providing support for scoping, execution and continued management.

The team ensures that leadership is consistently informed on the holistic process risks and optimization strategies in a way that facilitates strategic planning. The solutions group interfaces with a wide array of businesses and risk management groups across the Firm. The cross-disciplinary nature of the projects that the team engages in makes for a rewarding and multifaceted work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Manage regulatory reports, queries and data management
  • Develop presentations and metrics to enable data-based reports to help drive decisions and communicate them clearly and rationally
  • Responsible for supporting technology focused optimization initiatives tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans and identify, monitor and track key deliverables and progress
  • Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements for product solutions and/or vendor strategies.
  • Self-directed team player with the ability to drive high performance and work independently and in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • Results-oriented with ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects with multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for meaningful solution analysis
  • Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries
QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business IT, Finance, Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in technical program management, or similar experience with hands-on technical product management, project management, and/ or software development
  • Excellent communication/ presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong PowerPoint building skills and well versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word)
  • Innovative and flexible in coming up with suggestions and ideas
  • Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must work well in a global team, multi-tasking environment and under pressure
  • Adaptability and being comfortable with uncertainty
  • Experience in financial services is a plus
