We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY

The IBD Derivatives Group works with corporate and financial sponsor clients to identify, assess and manage risks across macro markets, including interest rates, FX, commodities, pension, and credit.

As part of the Japan Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division, IBD Derivatives provides clients with strategic risk management advisory services and structures and executes risk solutions in the course of M&A activity, financings, and balance sheet management. The group works closely with core investment banking, capital markets and trading groups to enhance product breadth, analytical capabilities and the overall client franchise.

The new joiner will be a integral member of the team and are actively involved in all aspects of the risk management advisory and execution process including: origination, financial and risk modelling, transaction structuring and execution of various types of risk solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4 years of finance experience
  • Derivative knowledge or experience is preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Power Point Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
  • Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker
  • Native level communication in Japanese
  • Keen interest in the financial markets and good commercial instincts
  • Strong combination of organizational, interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with people of varied backgrounds, personalities and levels of seniority
