RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

IMD is seeking to hire a New York based corporate Credit Analyst to join its global fixed income asset management team within Private Wealth Management (PWM).

Responsibilities :

  • Analyzing credits for investment purposes (analysis might include financial modeling, accounting review, assessment of management's communications, assessment of third-party research, and participating in presentations and discussions with management and sell-side analysts, among other research)
  • Presenting a recommendation (buy / sell decisions) to Senior Portfolio Manager based on relative value / comparable company analysis (including assessing the relative value within capital structures and bond indentures)
  • Performing ongoing due diligence and monitoring of portfolio positions and key credits, and communicating updates in a timely fashion to Senior Portfolio Manager & Credit Analyst (orally and in writing)
  • Assisting in monitoring of macro sector trends and portfolio exposures

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Credit generalist or experience across multiple sectors preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis or a related discipline (accounting, banking, financial modeling)
  • Monitoring of macro sector trends and portfolio exposures
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Applicable bond or equity market experience
