RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
GSAM US Fixed Income Municipal Research Analyst/Associate
The GSAM Municipals team is looking for a Research Analyst. Candidate should already be familiar with municipal research and should have experience reading Muni Official Statements and Muni Audits.
- Reviewing new issue and secondary market opportunities and helping to assess credit-worthiness
- Surveillance of existing fund holdings as well as separate account holdings
- Assist in credit prep work for client reviews
- Maintenance of internal portfolio management data base
- BS/BA degree
- Minimum two years work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience reading Muni Official Statements and Muni Audits
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Rating agency or municipal buy/sell side experience a plus
