INVESTMENT BANKING

Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.
SASS
Strategic Advisory, Structuring & Solutions ("SASS") is a team within the M&A Group of the Investment Banking Division. SASS is focused on a wide spectrum of transactions including complex mergers, acquisitions, break-ups, and financings. SASS has a flat team structure and works closely with the M&A group, coverage banking teams across industries, the financing group, and IBD strats.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Junior Banker:
- Advise clients on strategic alternatives for completing M&A
- Compare structural alternatives for companies looking to exit non-core businesses
- Participate in client dialogue in meetings and on calls
- Market new ideas to internal teams
- Track relevant precedents for spins, splits, RMTs, joint ventures, etc
- Draft market updates with regards to announcements on new deals, rules, and changes in law
