Human Capital Management - HCM Reporting - Analyst/Associate - Irving

HCM Reporting is a team of professionals who are passionate about HR data analysis. The members of the team are adept at analyzing complex data, identifying trends and correlations, and turning information into useful business intelligence. The team plays a key role in critical functions such as setting the compensation pool, managing headcount, in addition to many firm-wide strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage firm-wide headcount and compensation reporting – producing scheduled reports and responding to ad-hoc queries from senior management and other areas of the firm
  • Perform complex in-depth data analysis and develop concise narratives to illustrate trends and correlations
  • Partner closely with a wide range of areas outside the function – e.g., HCM business partners, Financial Reporting, and Executive Compensation, providing statistic support as well as strategic insight
  • Participate in and drive forward initiatives to improve efficiency and streamline processes
  • Manage critical processes during the year end compensation cycle

Basic Qualifications• Strong interest in developing a career in HR compensation analytics; prior related work experience preferred

  • Excellent undergraduate college education
  • Strong Excel – ability to manipulate large and complex data sets with great efficiency
  • Superb analytical acumen – able to grasp complexity quickly and find creative solutions to unfamiliar problems
  • Unyielding attention to detail to ensure accuracy; execute flawlessly and at great speed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong motivation; performs well under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Familiarity with Business Objects helpful
