Human Capital Management - Executive Compensation - Analyst/Associate

The Executive Compensation function provides the following core services: coordination of the materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors (developing meeting agendas, analyses and materials); advising on structure of senior executive compensation programs and general plan design; review of compensation-related regulatory requirements / guidance and ongoing compliance / respond to regulator requests / feedback; competitor compensation benchmarking (including tracking and reviewing competitor public filings); and reviewing, evaluating and reporting on Board of Directors compensation programs. This function requires liaising with other departments such as Controllers, Legal, and Tax, and will also involve providing support to other HCM functions, including the Firmwide Compensation Group, Equity Compensation, Special Investments and Benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop the agendas, analyses and materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Benchmarking of competitor compensation – research and provide analysis on NEO compensation, structure of compensation and terms of incentive programs; includes tracking/reviewing public filings (e.g., proxy statements, 8-Ks, Form 4s) and consultant benchmarking analyses
  • Prepare reports and communications to non-employee directors as part of year-end reporting
  • Prepare compensation information for inclusion in annual proxy statement
  • Develop presentation materials for senior management related to current projects across compensation / benefits functions
  • Assist in the coordination of regulatory-related compensation processes and drafting responses to regulator requests
  • Assist in the design of compensation programs, including modeling of financial costs, disclosure considerations and drafting communication materials
  • Assist in the review of global legal / tax issues associated with the equity program, and resulting design changes

  • Time management skills – prioritize workload to anticipate and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment – knowing when to escalate an issue
  • Works well under pressure
  • Teamwork – ability to work well with others
  • Very strong computer skills required including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • 2+ years relevant work experience preferred
