Global Markets Division - Collateral and Margin - Associate - Jersey City

Jersey City, NJ

Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.

The primary job responsibility is to ensure that clients remain within exposure limits and that actions are taken to bring the client's account back within that limit. These limits can be Goldman imposed or by various regulations such as FINRA 4210, Regulation T, and UMR.

There will also be multiple large-scale initiatives and projects that can range from complying to street wide legislation to development of GS systems. These will require the candidate to be able to utilize careful planning and effective stakeholder management in order to help guide the projects to completion.
