EXECUTIVE OFFICE

Our Executive Office is a group of diverse teams that shapes corporate strategy, culture, and brand. You'll be part of a team of excellent communicators who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Communications teams in the Executive Office support and enhance the firm's culture, brand and reputation. We focus on:

  • Keeping our people connected to the firm
  • Managing our firm's relationships with the media
  • Consulting with our businesses on their communication needs
  • Content creation and distribution
  • Brand management and market research The analyst will support the Corporate Communications team by working on various communications initiatives and by monitoring and analyzing media coverage of the firm
  • working closely with colleagues across the global Corporate Communications team, partnering with other departments in the Executive Office, and assisting teams across the firm with their communication efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor media coverage of the firm and distribute media clips to the global Corporate Communications team
  • Support press officers by preparing briefing memos, presentations and background research in advance of meetings with reporters or the firm's senior leaders
  • Prepare weekly reports and summaries on Goldman Sachs media coverage
  • Edit, review and approve internal, cross-divisional e-mail communications (known as "To Alls") according to firmwide style
  • Write, edit and review articles for GSWeb, the firm's intranet
  • Post videos of media interviews featuring senior Goldman Sachs leaders to GSWeb, the firm's intranet
  • Revise, produce and maintain professional biographies for the firm's senior leaders
  • Assist in coordinating monthly communications meeting with representatives from the firm's divisions and regions
  • Contribute to the production of key team products, including the Client Franchise Newsletter
  • File and archive key communications and press coverage
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage key communications projects with the Technology Division

  • Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines
  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks to meet client needs
  • Must be able to take ideas from inception and carry them through delivery
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across the firm's divisions and business lines
  • Excellent multi-tasking, analytical, communication and organizational skills
