The Critical Infrastructure team is responsible for designing and implementing the core directory, authentication and security platforms for the firm's technology. As a part of Critical Infrastructure, the platform security team delivers security products for the firm's desktop and server environments and provides consulting services to other Technology Infrastructure teams to help ensure delivery of secure infrastructure applications and services. The technology covers a broad range of vendors in the infrastructure security markets.
Requirements include a strong background in authentication products, experience in Linux and Windows operating environments, and development experience in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Critical Infrastructure team, the team members primary responsibility will be to design, engineer and deploy next-generation security products, with a focus on authentication solutions. The team member will be expected to expand in the role to work with other project teams in the Critical Infrastructure organization. The team member must be self-directed, analytical, able to work with many different teams, and able to set and meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Experience designing, installing and operating security products and infrastructures
- Strong background in security concepts, including encryption and secure coding practices
- Strong background in Linux client-server application environments
- Some background in Windows client-server application environments
- Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills
- Strong Unix/C network programming skills
- Some core Java and Java JGSS programming skills
- Some Unix shell and Perl scripting experience
- In-depth knowledge of Kerberos, OpenSSL, and FreeRADIUS library internals
- Knowledge of open standard authentication protocols such as FIDO and OAuth2
