Guidelines Platform team manages a suite of applications that helps GSAM business meet its compliance requirements per the legal contracts with the clients as well as with regulators. This involves integrating data points from multiple sources in an extensible data structure to enable evaluation of complex business rules.
As part of the development team the candidate will be building solutions leveraging technologies like VERTX 3.x, MongoDB, Java 8, Kafka and REST services to provided scalable solution for supporting low-latency, concurrent, highly fail-safe and resilient services to support real-time trading environment. The candidate will be responsible for the platform uplift of the core application for investment decisions / guidelines.

• Engineering degree - Computer Science or equivalent

• ORM tools like Hibernate
• Java, Sybase, UNIX/ LINUX
• Knowledge in Capital Markets
