Who We Look For

Goldman Sachs Engineers are innovators and problem-solvers, building solutions in risk management, big data, mobile and more. We look for creative collaborators who evolve, adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced global environment.

This role will be responsible for developing and improving core analytics and infrastructure software for the solutions which we want to provide to GS Bank. The group will be building solutions which will apply business rules and logic ensuring the appropriate workflow and controls are applied to transactions in GS Bank. Knowledge of JSI as well as internal market making applications such as Boltweb and or Halo would be a plus.



Consumer and Commercial Banking(CCBD): The division brings innovative solutions to traditional banking activities. We are a global team of lenders, investors, risk managers, skilled marketers, web experts and banking specialists. We provide a suite of solutions to help our customers meet their personal financial goals. We make direct investments in, and risk manage, a portfolio of corporate loans and securities. And we help transform distressed communities through investments and loans of private capital.

GS Bank: GS Bank is a subdivision of CCBD which is involved in many consumer facing activities, like Marcus and GS Bank online savings. GS Bank is growing and is looking for motivated & driven engineers to join and contribute to the evolution of GS Bank.

As an engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving software platforms for use in GS Bank. The software components include regulatory and internal controls, workflow tools and a deposits platform for institutional business. These innovations allow GS Bank management to expand the business and make informed, timely business decisions.


Basic Qualifications

  • 7-10 years expertise in Web development
  • Expertise in React JS, HTML5, Java
  • Experience integrating with Restful webservices
  • Comfort with Agile Operating Models
  • Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in finance and financial application development is preferred
  • Experience integrating with vendor applications
  • Comfort operating in a matrix environment
