Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


Duties: Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Interact with Investment Management Division (IMD) Business Partners on pricing initiatives for investment management opportunities. Develop asset based fee pricing proposals for new business opportunities in all asset classes. Analyze asset based fee pricing of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) products versus peer competitors. Analyze economics of alternative performance fee structures for new business opportunities and propose viable alternatives to the Sales and Product teams. Analyze actual performance fee revenue earned versus projections. Project the performance fee revenue that could be earned in the current and future years from all of IMD's existing performance fee mandates. Calculate and record the actual performance fee revenue that is earned from each of IMD's customized performance fees at the end of each mandate's performance fee calculation period. Track and maintain metrics for the complete population of Mandates with a customized Performance Fee component within GSAM databases. Monitor compliance with Most Favored Nations (MFN) pricing agreements to ensure that clients are receiving the lowest pricing offered for their MFN mandates versus comparable mandates.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. Will accept a single or a combination of degrees deemed equivalent by a qualified credentials evaluation agency. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related financial services position. Prior work experience must include: using quantitative methods and tools to assess the impact of investment decisions on performance and related investment management fees; calculating projections and conducting performance fee analysis under different future performance scenarios; working with Excel with ability to analyze voluminous data to create reports and perform analysis using excel formulas, charts, filtering, and data validation; managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, target timelines, and responding quickly to ad hoc analysis requested by stakeholders; preparing customized performance fee calculations related to investment management for clients and ensuring accuracy of associated data and calculations; articulating complex performance fee analysis to clients and their professional advisors; experience with process enhancement, developing and implementing process improvements.
