Associate-Intermediate, Vice President - TECH111416SCCA

Duties: Associate-Intermediate, Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Jersey City, NJ. Responsible for end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of applications and systems that support the Firm’s Human Capital Management (HCM) functions. Design, develop, test and maintain HCM applications. Interface with the Firm’s HCM end users and other developers to understand requirements and ensure applications address user requirements. Build systems and tools to consolidate HCM data across the firm with a consistent Application Programming Interface (API) and programming environment. Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, test and implementation plans from business requirements. Plan the development works based on the requirement specifications and Co-ordinate with the team for the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance. Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Seven (7) years in the job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Software Development Life Cycle management, including interacting with end users for analysis and design, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), maintenance, and supporting end users; working on multiple development projects concurrently, including experience with large-scale systems; Object-Oriented Application Development (such as Java or another OO language) and design patterns; programming in the Linux, Unix, and Windows environments; Persistence Technologies, such as DB2, Sybase; Spring framework; and process monitoring tools, such as Autosys/keep alive. Must have three (3) years of experience with: managing large scale global development projects; working on a global software development team and communicating status/design effectively across multiple regions; enhancing/maintaining large legacy applications; Elastic Search; and Angular JS and HTML5.
