Duties: Associate-Intermediate, Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Lead and manage the Equity Marquee Engineering team in the U.S including all people development. Utilize technical expertise to drive initiatives and consult on problems that arise throughout the Equity Derivatives business, including modern web stack design, scalable services, capacity management distributed computing, information security, and aesthetic product design. Identify opportunities to offer existing listed and OTC electronic trading solutions to clients through rich web applications. Responsible for managing the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, specification, design, development, testing and day-to-day support; delegation of duties to junior members of the team. Work closely with business users, including quantitative analysts, traders, and sales representatives, to elicit/understand business requirements and translate business requirements into innovative solutions. Lead design sessions by analyzing technical/quantitative requirements and presenting logical statements of business problems. Engage in project planning/development oversight: set project deliverables and estimate timeframe, define the roles and responsibilities of team members staffed on the projects and coordinate their activities. Engage in hiring and recruitment: identify potential software engineering candidates; assess and screen candidates; manage the job offer life cycle; attending general recruiting events; organize and execute diversity related recruiting events.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have four (4) years of experience: programming large scale software systems using languages Java, Scala, JavaScript, HTML, SASS, CSS, Python, and C++ and libraries such as Angular and React; and visually design a web application end to end. Must have one (1) year of experience with: technically architecting a web application end-to-end; Equity Derivative instruments including Swaps, Options, Forwards, Futures and Structured Products and other OTC Equity Instruments; Equity algorithmic/electronic trading; and building distributed systems that are scalable and secure. Series 7 and 63 licenses are required. Travel required (approx. 1-2 weeks per year) for team meetings and recruiting events.
