Associate-Finance with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Associate-Finance with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Execute multiple debt financing transactions of benchmark size including structure Asset-Backed Securities ("ABS"), Leveraged Loans, High Yield Bonds and Warehouse facilities. Interact with senior management on a daily basis to execute projects, provide updates and advice and prepare presentation materials especially as it relates to corporate debt, warehouse, asset-backed securities and acquisition financing. Build highly technical and complex financial models that incorporate corporate finance concepts and cash flow analyses. Build and present capital risk/ return framework analyses. Interact with rating agencies, issuers and investors. Review and comment on complex legal documents including offering documents and credit agreements. Manage multiple live work streams, coordinate with clients, external counsel, co-advisors and senior deal team members to ensure smooth execution of deals. Supervise and review memoranda required to gain internal approvals from typical investment banking committees. Supervise, guide and coordinate junior professionals' work product, including reviewing financial modeling work and presentations prepared for live deals, corporate board meetings, investment banking pitches and client service projects. Attend industry specific conferences to meet and interact with new and existing clients, counsel and other financial advisors in order to generate client connectivity and industry connections.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. Will accept a single or combination of degrees deemed equivalent by a qualified credentials evaluations agency. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related investment banking position. Prior work experience must include 2 years: Utilizing understanding of financial markets with respect to investment banking key trends, competitors, products and regulations; Utilizing knowledge of the life-cycle of investment banking deals, including: timelines, resourcing requirements, expected fee spreads, expense impacts and billing procedures; Quantitative and analytical model development using advanced mathematical, numerical and statistics techniques; Cash flow financial modeling utilizing industry accepted models and tools; Applying methods of key statistical analysis using Collateral Analysis System or other industry-specific software; Leverage Buy Out financial modeling and debt incurrence and restructuring analysis; Experience in Rating Agency process and analyses; Ability to manage due diligence process; Capital market experience including current trends, roadshow, syndication and book building process; Experience reviewing and commenting on complex legal documents including credit agreements, offering memoranda, indentures; Experience in executing lead managed transactions including debt underwriting, Asset-Backed Securitizations, leveraged buyouts, levered recapitalizations, warehouses and corporate revolvers; Experience in structuring debt financing transaction including cross border structures, holding company structures and bankruptcy remote special purpose vehicle structures; Utilizing knowledge of macroeconomics and the fundamental and technical drivers of fixed income market and interest rates such as the effects of the current financial account and monetary policy; Investment banking industry experience in at least one of the sectors namely financial institutions, natural resources, industrials, technology media and telecommunications; Experience with Microsoft Excel including detailed logic and finance formulas, data tables, filters, and pivot tables to reference and analyze large quantities of data and facilitate financial analysis; Utilizing understanding of regulatory capital charges driven by Risk Weighted Assets of investment banking products; Understanding of the impact of both balance sheet driven positions and unfunded commitments; Experience preparing client presentations in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for corporate clients to showcase detailed analysis and pitch recommendation, as well as for deal execution processes. FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses required. Travel required.
