Associate - TECH121516MMCP

Duties: Associate with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, NY. Responsible for project management, planning, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices across several Client Platforms Collaboration products, including the firm’s intranet, public website, strategic instant-messaging and chat platform, and related products. Act as primary client face and business analyst for all work on the Firm’s public website. Work directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and gather requirements. Work directly with developers to translate these requirements into detailed, actionable work items. Collaborate with all stakeholders to prioritize the teams’ work, including running sprints, retrospectives, and reporting to senior stakeholders. Act as a subject matter expert for SDLC within the team, including scoping tickets to releases, working with our server teams to perform and oversee releases, and coordinating and performing QA activities. Serve as an expert in Web analytics for the public website and intranet. Translate visual designs into stand-alone components and content-management templates.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field AND Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field AND five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have experience with: creating, managing, and/or driving specifications for content-managed websites, including experience translating designs into content-managed components and templates; performing business analysis of complex requirements by working directly with non-technical stakeholders and developers; running sprints and retrospectives, in line with Agile best practices; the entire SDLC, including release management, QA, and planning; web analytics software such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics; driving planning and prioritization of software projects across multiple projects and stakeholders; managing software and/or design vendor relationships, including experience adapting and configuring a vendor product for integration with homegrown software; configuring, administrating, and integrating content-delivery networks such as Akamai or CloudFlare.
