Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, NY. Own the application design and Business Process Models (of the Appian Case Management System) used by the Firm’s Consumer Lending Platform. Develop and demonstrate an advanced knowledge of developing, implementing and supporting applications using Business Process Management (“BPM”) / Business Rules Engine. Responsible for design and development of end-to-end BPM workflow solutions using the Appian Framework including process, forms, and reports. Work closely with the product owner/business stakeholders to define workflows and elicit requirements that will capture and fulfill an agent’s intent seamlessly through point of contact. Typical deliverables include: creation of Business Process Models (BPMN 2.0); creation and prioritization of application enhancements and product roadmap that supports business goals; functional decomposition; and Epics and User Stories for the product backlog and sprint planning; Wire Frames and POC development. Guide a team of Appian Developers through elaborating user stories with the Subject Matter Experts for the Epics identified in each sprint. Coordinate with delivery teams, including development, infrastructure, and program management, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the Appian case management system. Engage different IT functions (Architecture, Middleware, DevOps, and Testing) for product demonstrations to manage expectations and ensure that the application meets technical requirements and are maintainable. Work with Enterprise architects on design collaboration and review to ensure Appian application align with the enterprise initiatives. Define and architect IT services as they relate to business processes with an ability to relate IT services in business terms. Provide subject matter knowledge in establishing business architectures, principles and standards with respect to industry leading frameworks (such as TOGAF, Zachman and ITIL). Establish the deployment process and standards for the project. Support End User trainings for the Case Management application.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role involving BPM application design. Must have five (5) years of experience with: building BPM applications with any of the leading BPM platforms such as Appian/PEGA/IBM BPM; working as part of Agile/SCRUM teams; and scoping, planning and delivering full life cycle development projects. Must have three (3) years of experience with: working with Financial systems. Must have two (2) years of experience with: establishing architectures, principles and standards with respect to at least two of the following industry leading frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner and ITIL v3.
