Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Act as a member of the Data Analytics and Reporting team, responsible for influencing our Technology Division’s strategic and operational direction by identifying opportunities in large, rich data sets and creating and implementing data-driven strategies that fuel growth including cost savings and expense management. Responsible for delivering on data analytics, reporting and visualization solutions. Design, develop and implement a suite for complex reports and associated data models. Mine hidden wealth of data located within large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Leverage applied mathematics and statistics with analytical and visualization applications to translate, question, analyze and interpret data to reveal relationships, outliers, patterns, and trends. Identify key business metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements. Build dashboards, automated reports and report templates. Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and dashboard design best practices. Support Tableau infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general maintenance. Serve as a primary point of contact for Tableau related issue resolution. Refine and enhance the technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands and new Tableau software releases. Analyze, troubleshoot and tune product performance or deployment issues when required. Define best practices during implementation and integration of Tableau Platform.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of cumulative experience with: Tableau and/or OBI 11g report development and development experience in DB2 and/or Oracle. Must have two (2) years of development experience with OBI 11g Administration. Must have one (1) year of professional experience in statistical modeling using R. Must have experience with the Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for development and project plan estimates , including experience gathering requirements, designing, developing, reviewing, building, testing and deployment of commercial scale software changes.
