Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. As an Associate in Critical Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) team, responsible for Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Internet Protocol Address Management (IPAM). Engage in requirements gathering, design, architecture, implementation and support for software solutions within Technology Infrastructure. Utilize technical understanding to develop modules ranging from server components to user interfaces in a Global Delivery Model. Work with local/global team and managers to help define their business practices and suggest solutions that improve efficiency. Influence and motivate people of various interests and seniority levels. Respond to emergency situations and perform regularly scheduled maintenance at all times. Adapt to the team’s established best practices and environment. Make presentations to customers, clients or professional peers. Work independently on problem solving. Lead projects in an enterprise application development environment and move projects forward.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, Telecommunications and Networking, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, Telecommunications and Networking, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience (if Master’s) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor’s) with: DNS, DHCP and IPAM architecture and management capabilities; Enterprise Nokia QIP; IP Anycast design, IBGP network routing protocol, and Quagga; Python, Perl, Java, and JavaScript; developing Python REST APIs; database development and data modeling at an enterprise scale, including experience with SQL and NoSQL; development experience with message queueing products, including RabbitMQ; developing and scripting in a Linux environment; the full software development lifecycle, including experience planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance; and communicating (oral, written, presentation) technical content to a large community in a geographically diverse environment.
