The position will play a critical role in diagnosing, designing, implementing, and operationalizing solutions aimed at optimizing our L&D training solutions and operations. The L&D Project Manager will act as a liaison between GreenSky's Operations teams and the Vice President of Learning and Development to identify training requirements and operations support needed for L&D to execute their roadmap. The following are the key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Have a passion and drive for developing innovative L&D Solutions which holistically address current and future needs defined by the business
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements and provide an independent point of view to the Vice President of Learning &Development to determine applicable solutions and scalability of future support needs
  • Build relationships and partner with the operations team to ensure productive and proactive communication regarding training needs are met
  • Able to assess interdependencies across multiple initiatives simultaneously to holistically address business needs across areas, including:

• Performance Management

• Learning and Development Programs Management & Delivery

• Compliance learning delivery and reporting

• Program assessment and survey tools and solutions

  • Structure and define timing and resource requirements for complex cross functional projects
  • Have the desire to 'roll up your sleeves' to get solutions implemented
  • Ability to create and advocate solutions to team members at all levels within various functions across the Organization
  • Have strong internal and external customer service focus
  • Ability to understand complex businesses problems and identify solutions autonomously
  • Effectively communicate progress using written, oral and visual media
  • Project manage learning and development requests related to new initiatives, product deployment and changes to existing products or campaigns for our agents
  • Conduct initial project scoping to understand Learning and Development requests
  • Make recommendations on the training approach, design, implementation, and evaluation
  • Partner with the Instructional Designers to Identify the target audience, the learning objectives, training materials needed, and assessment to gauge the learner's understanding and the level of mastery of the performance objectives and progress
  • Use learning data to modify training and communicate results to the Vice President of Learning and Development
  • Collaborate with appropriate L&D partners to ensure training materials reflect business changes
  • Deliver training consistent with adult learning theory that effectively conveys key information and achieves learning objectives
  • Influential thought partnership
  • Understanding of current Learning & Development landscape, tools, and best practices
  • Monitor and report on summary business objectives to the Vice President of Learning and Development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Strong skills and experience in issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations, and managing stringent timelines for project deliverables
  • Eager to learn about financial services and consumer lending
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
  • Clear and concise communicator (both written and oral)
  • Proven ability to present information with a business impact orientation and ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively train others through interaction and engagement
  • Ability to develop content that is instructionally sound and incorporates adult learning methodologies

Preferred Skills

  • PMP, ACP, CSM and/or PgMP certification
  • Intellectual curiosity in order to try new tools and methodologies in a culture that supports your desire to learn
