Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Function within the Firm's Operations division's Central Accounts Group which supports the function of account opening, maintenance and client data quality management. Responsibilities include: Processing, control, confirmation, and settlement of the Firm's accounts related to cash, trading, clearance, or portfolios. Work directly with the Firm's internal business partners and external clients to ensure the timely and accurate opening of new accounts and maintenance of various types of accounts for the Firm. Support the execution of on-going projects and efficiency initiatives and provide operational risk management for the Firm's business. Work with various teams within the Firm's Operations, Legal and Compliance division to provide support to the Firm's Equity, Fixed Income, Goldman Sachs Execution and Clearing (GSEC), Prime Brokerage, Derivative Clearing Services and Future Businesses. Identify opportunities for process improvements and to develop methods to reduce risks, increase controls, and increase customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2.5 years of experience in the job offered or related finance position. Prior work experience must include 2.5 years: Project management skills including application enhancements experience which includes overall UAT, test script generation and coordination of testing with project stakeholders; Identifying risks inherent in daily financial services business processes and driving initiative to mitigate risk, and designing controls to mitigate risk while seeking Straight-Through-Processing (STP) workflows; Problem solving and analytical skills pertaining to reference data discrepancies and exceptions management; Balancing a wide variety of tasks, prioritizing them appropriately, and escalating as needed to wider audiences to ensure correct action; Designing testing documents, executing test scripts, and monitoring production environment roll outs pertaining to financial services processes; Translating regulations into business requirements to be consumed by technology for product development; Utilizing knowledge of the onboarding requirements for equity and fixed income products.
