Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Maintain, correct, and publish portfolio accounting information including monthly client statements and annual tax reporting documents provided by the Firm to Private Wealth Management (PWM) clients. Reconcile databases, liaise with the Firm's technology and client service representatives for purposes of ensuring that the Firm has the appropriate infrastructure with respect to technology, processes and controls to support complex financial transactions such that we meet our clients' needs as well as internal control standards and external regulatory requirements. Conduct root cause analysis, identify areas of risk, red flags, and unusual activity to prevent fraudulent behavior, financial loss and reputational risk. Ensure the integrity of the Firm's books and records through the development of workflows, systems and controls, from trade capture to settlement.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. Two and a half (2.5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related financial position. Prior work experience must include: utilizing knowledge of capital gain/loss calculations, cost basis reporting, accretion/amortization of bond premiums; utilizing knowledge of financial reports including, Taxlots, Holdings, Tax Details, Investment and Cash activity; utilizing knowledge of dividend taxability; translating regulations into business requirements to be consumed by technology for product development; designing testing documents, executing test scripts, and monitoring production environment roll outs.
