Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Provide financial operations support to the fixed income trading activity for the Firm's clients. Responsibilities include: analyze bank accounts and funding for multiple cash accounts in various currencies and markets to ensure entities can pay their clients, clearings and other market agents; maintain and monitor Liquidity and Treasury systems to ensure all businesses are appropriately positioned to meet their commitments and that the front office trades based on accurate figures; monitor and fund securities clearings to facilitate settlements and anticipate liquidity impacts; liaise with the Firm's Trading, Finance, Settlements, Global Control and Corporate Treasury teams to explain projections, analyze impacts and resolve breaks/issues; compile liquidity projections of various Firm-owned and Brazil-based entities; provide end of day estimates to finalize accounts at custodians/intermediaries to facilitate securities settlements, and maximize cash and securities allocations efficiency; perform margin calls executions for Brazil clients within local private securities clearing upon demand.



Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Two and a half (2.5) years of experience in the job offered or a related global financial services position.Prior work experience must include the below. Employer will accept any number of years of professional experience with the below listed skills: utilizing knowledge of US, Europe and Asia markets as well as financial products offered in these regions; utilizing productivity software such as MS Office Suite; experience with complex cash/securities projections and reconciliations; experience with driving projects, creating management reports and managing shifting priorities; working with international currencies, clearings, products and markets; experience with trade booking lifecycle; performing account reconciliations in a large financial services organization; preparing metrics and management reporting; experience utilizing pivot tables to manage large datasets, V-looks ups and basic macros to minimize manual processes and efficiently manage risk; liaising with technology and multiple financial operations groups to enhance processes and procedures and implement regulatory changes; problem solving and analytical skills pertaining to confirmation discrepancies and exception management.
