Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Lead risk-based reviews of the Firm's technology platforms (compute, network, workplace, data management, and entitlements), cyber and information security, and business resilience functions spanning first- and second-lines of defense. Design and execute tests within the platforms technology areas to validate identified system control failures, utilizing various techniques such as data analysis, code inspection, re-performance of processing logic, observation and interviews to evaluate the adequacy of technology controls. Document and review audit results in an objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely manner and communicate scope, progress and results of audit reviews to internal technology and business stakeholders. Assess the risk and impact of the issues identified on reviews and develop the report to management. Engage stakeholders on remediation of actions coming out of issues identified during audits. Participate in internal initiatives and committees to enhance audit methodologies as well assessing the impact of regulatory reforms in the Financial Industry on audit, in order to ensure efficiency, consistency, and growth. Liaise with colleagues globally and internal and external stakeholders including regulators and external auditors and maintain relationships and regular interactions with stakeholder during the year to assess changes in the control environment and other matters arising in the business.



Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.Must have three (3) years of experience (with Master's) or five (5) years of experience (with Bachelor's) with: performing risk-based reviews of technology platforms - including at least three of the following: compute, network, workplace, data base management, messaging, and entitlements; Cyber and information security at a related financial services peer firm or an accounting or consulting firm providing these services to the financial service industry; identifying risks associated with technology platform implementations and evaluating the related control environment for any design weaknesses or implementation failures; designing and executing tests to validate identified system controls using data analysis, code inspection and re-performance; writing/documenting audit results in an objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely manner; effectively communicating scope, progress and results of audit reviews to internal technology and business stakeholders; the scope and requirements of the current Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's (FFIEC) examination handbooks, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, and the New York State Department of Financial Services Cybersecurity rules and regulations; utilizing data analysis tools including ACL, MS Access, SQL Server, Splunk, and Sybase; UNX system administration, network administration, or data base administration; network firewall management, network architecture design, and secure application architecture.
