Duties: Associate with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, NY. Responsible for continuous monitoring and auditing of the various technologies in the Equities division, to identify areas of potential risk to Goldman Sachs. Validate completed management action plans for remediation of internal audit findings. Perform effectiveness testing for the key controls. Identify core risks associated with technology implementations and deployed controls and reduce risk in supported business units. Work with business auditors to address and assess key application risks. Document and communicate audit results both orally and in writing in an objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely manner. Lead projects to complete audits accurately and in a timely fashion. Contribute to the technical understanding and adoption of technology control standards, solutions, and tools. Responsible for application security and software quality assurance. Assist with cross-functional communications and strategies to address technology and operational risk issues. Utilize various techniques such as data analysis, testing, observation and interviews to evaluate the adequacy of technology controls.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have experience with: equity products, trading processes, regulation, and associated technologies; business risk and technology risks associated with running a trading business; identifying business risks and analyzing system controls utilizing one or more of the following: SQL, C++, and Python within the financial services industry; working across a large global team; articulating results and findings to stakeholders (both orally and in writing); working on multiple projects concurrently.
