RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of internal wholesalers to successfully build long term relationships with third party financial advisors and increase asset flows of GSAM investment products
  • Participate in the development of and lead the execution of sales campaigns and strategic initiatives to increase GSAM penetration and sales production
  • Provide ongoing professional development of internal sales team members through coaching, business planning support and training related to GSAM's sales process
  • Manage, improve and monitor the daily operations and activities of the internal sales team
  • Facilitate communication to promote teamwork within and between internal marketing, operations and service departments
  • Generate creative ideas and unique services that help internal wholesalers strengthen client relationships
  • Act as a liaison to national sales management, national accounts, marketing and product management to communicate market trends, competitive information and client needs
  • Work closely with the Director of Internal Sales to develop and successfully execute firm initiatives


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant sales or management experience
  • Series 7 and 63 required
  • Successful completion of Series 24 required within three months of start date
  • Project management skills
  • Supervisory skills
  • Financial industry experience
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
