- Charlotte, NC
Global Endowment Management (“GEM”) manages $10 billion in perpetual capital with the goal of generating exceptional risk-adjusted returns for our clients, largely U.S. endowments & foundations. By striving to be the best boutique endowment investment manager, we enable our mission-oriented clients to do their best work. Founded in 2007 and based in Charlotte, GEM is a value-oriented, long-term investor in both public and private markets. Our uniquely long-term capital base affords us the opportunity to patiently invest in high quality assets and good businesses with world-class operators and investors. We are flexible in our investment format, investing through a variety of structures as either a controlling or minority investor in JVs, co-investments, and traditional funds. Through strong alignment with our investment partners, we empower them to create value through the day-to-day management of investments, and we focus our efforts on identifying attractive themes, sourcing exceptional opportunities, and collaborating with investment partners to ensure prudent capital allocation.
We are seeking an investment professional with 5+ years experience investing in private markets.

2.) Research new investment areas,
3.) Actively manage our existing portfolio through close engagement with current investment partners, and
4.) Contribute to other private investment and firm initiatives. Given the diversity and breadth of the GEM portfolio, the role offers a unique multi-faceted investment experience.
