Staff Attorney

Key Responsibilities:

The Junior Legal Counsel will be a member of the Legal Team and provide legal support to the Company. The Junior Legal Counsel will work closely with other lawyers and the senior counsel in Asia on a wide range of day-to-day legal issues, typically including:


  • Reviewing and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts such as master service agreements, service schedules, confidentiality agreements and various terms & conditions;
  • Employment matters such as employment agreements and advising management with regard to staff disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies and terminations;
  • Translating and managing contracts and documents with high level of accuracy, from Chinese to English and vice versa
  • General corporate legal matters that may include internal and external corporate matters, company secretarial work and potential transactions;
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures including related support and delivery of training to employees; and
  • Further development, maintenance and updating of legal systems and records. 



  • Holding a recognized law degree from China or commonwealth jurisdictions; ideally with between 1-3 years experience either at a law firm or a mix of law firm and in-house;
  • Excellent skills in written English and Mandarin; fluency in Japanese and/or Korean is desirable but not required; outstanding scores in IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or relevant language test will be a plus; 
  • Fluency in using technology tools/software (MS Word, Excel);
  • Superior communication skills and be able to work comfortably with team members;
  • Diligent, hard-working and have sense of ownership
