GLG Engineering

We are always looking for talented software engineers who are passionate about building new things and solving problems.

GLG: A Great Place for Engineers

Our engineering team develops the software that helps our users connect and exchange information with one another. We don’t have dedicated product managers, rigid hierarchies, or arbitrary deadlines. We are self-directed, tasked with identifying opportunities for growth, implementing solutions, and evaluating their performance. Engineers at GLG are responsible for one thing - continuing to push our business forward with the most current technology.

As a team, we value the freedom to choose the tools we believe will work best for the task at hand. Node, Python, HTML, JS, and many other languages are spoken here. We're friendly, supportive, and often work in pairs to help each other learn and grow. GLG has 22 offices in 12 countries, and we have Engineering teams in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Dublin, and Boston.

You’ll Fit Right In

Being a software developer at GLG means understanding our business and how software can make it better. It means working with stakeholders and co-workers directly to understand their challenges, their opportunities, and their process. It means evaluating a project's cost, as well as the benefit. Our software developers make hypotheses and run experiments in order to make a difference. You are skilled, but also willing to learn. You are driven by metrics, not your gut, and willing to prove yourself wrong.
