Events Intern | Fall 2017


GLG’s Events team manage and leverage Gerson Lehrman Group’s core asset – members of the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) Councils – to participate in small-group meetings, educational Seminars, and Webcasts, among others, with clients and prospective clients.  The in-person and online experience is managed by the Events team who help shape a brand that continues to set Gerson Lehrman Group apart from competitors.  The Events team is responsible for programming compelling meetings with the world’s most notable experts and managing all surrounding logistics.


We are accepting applicants currently enrolled in University for our internship program.  During the program, interns will work 15-20 hours weekly, between the hours of 8am and 6pm on weekdays.  This is a part time fall internship. 



Events interns will assist in the planning and execution of GLG’s events products across all practice areas.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Data management
  • Target list generation
  • Reporting clean up
  • Strong excel skills
  • Researching venues
  • Confirming logistical details
  • Proofreading documents
  • Securing travel arrangements
  • Compiling event itineraries


Potential candidates possess:

  • Excellent communication skills  and highly professional in all written and oral communications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively
  • Extremely organized and very detail-oriented
  • Prior experience with meeting planning and execution
