Job Summary

                               

GLG is looking for an associate to help a startup division, called Strategic Projects, to build out a strong network of independent consulting talent (Council Members). This individual will work closely with GLG Strategic Projects leadership on creating and executing the vision for critically important business capabilities across: talent management, acquisition, insights and operations.

 

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Talent management: Help create a mutually beneficial talent network environment that generates Council Member satisfaction, loyalty and efficiency e.g. CRM, webinars, establishing best practices, KPIs and repeatable processes for our members.
  • Recruiting: Articulate our value proposition to potential members, and on-board them. Scale and streamline recruiting operations to enroll new members e.g. execute outreach strategy, marketing and recruiting campaigns, oversee and guide interview process.
  • Talent development: Develop GLG services that support Council Members in their professional development, business success, and client service e.g. establish structured feedback process, annual surveys, organize learning and development programs.
  • Brand ambassador: Portray a positive image of our product and be a go-to person for external member. Learn our team’s processes and become familiar with key members of our network.
  • Insights and analytics (Optional): To better understand Council Members and meet their needs, this role will help with collecting insights and dig into data to glean more insights and synthesize findings for the team.
  • Operations (Optional): This role will help streamline operations for talent acquisition and over time can get involved in broader business operations.

 

Requirements
  • Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of experience; preferred talent management operations, recruiting, organizational psychology, behavioral economic or start up
  • Develop and deliver written and verbal communication to inform decision makers
  • Structuring and leading multiple projects simultaneously to completion
  • Comfort with some ambiguity and ability to work in entrepreneurial environment
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and integrity; team player and creative problem-solver
  • Solid computer skills and analytics, e., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
