ViiV Product Marketing Manager - DTP
ViiV Healthcare is a stand-alone specialist pharmaceutical company focused exclusively on HIV. ViiV develops and commercializes medicines to treat HIV and works solely with HIV stakeholders - physicians, patients, pharmacy, payer and policy makers. The Product Marketing Manager DTP is responsible for leading development and execution of key DTP marketing activities and tactics to help achieve brand launch goals. The role will report to the US DTP Lead, ViiV Healthcare.
•Lead key DTP-focused brand marketing activities and tactics in conjunction with HCP and digital teams to support unbranded and Dolutegravir-based initiatives.
•Partner with DTP team and external affairs in implementation of patient program strategy, training and implementation of novel patient focused programming
•Understand complex trends in the US marketplace (e.g., through analysis and market research), to effectively contribute to the development, approval and deployment of US DTP marketing materials
•Manage projects through the Copy Approval System
•Consistently establish detailed timelines and manage projects to those timelines
•Active management of agency partners; evaluate and set project budgets, work with agency/finance to ensure progressing according to budget
•Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal cross-functional teams, especially multi-channel marketing, HCP marketing, and external partners to align objectives across multiple groups and influence outcomes
•Identify/build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders that are grounded in trust/mutual respect
•Foster open communication among team members, network and build alliances collaboratively
•Build consensus by involving others in decisions that impact them; handle controversial issues proactively and responsibly
•Play key role in interacting with sales force, including contributing to development of launch meeting, training and effective roll-out of materials
•Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
•>8 years pharmaceutical experience to include Marketing and/or related Commercial roles
•Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), with the ability to communicate and present effectively to groups and senior leaders
•Proven project management skills
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
•Graduate Degree level (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience
•Proven experience organizing, leading, motivating matrix teams and agencies
Proven experience marketing to patients and/or consumers
•Experience commercializing specialty products in the US i.e. biologics, infusables/injectables, specialty pharmacy and/or buy and bill acquisition, etc
•Experience working on a product launch
•Practical experience with prescription brand marketing principles across channels, including sales force delivered, websites, digital marketing and/or other non-personal advertising to HCPs
•Proven ability to utilize customer insights to drive marketing decisions
•Experience in marketing promotions, market research, strategy, tactics and resource allocation; including track record of developing HCP marketing materials/programs that deliver against strategy
•Experience in Brand Management and Copy Approval processes
•Understanding of DTP, HCP, payer and environmental/policy issues and trends that may influence decision-making
•Ability to influence across various levels and within various functions - medical, health outcomes, account teams, operations, sales and brand marketing
•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, and keep projects on track to meet deadlines
•Pharmaceutical Sales and/or sales management experience
•Strong project management and demonstrated analytical skills
•Knowledge and practical application of compliance acumen in the pharmaceutical space
•Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills
