Validation Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
This Validation Engineer will be responsible for equipment/facility validation projects in a hands-on role including writing validation protocols, scheduling and performing validation execution, gathering and analyzing data, and writing final validation reports. This person will participate as a supporting member representing validation issues on project teams. Validation Engineers will lead specific validation projects in areas such as equipment qualification, cleaning validation, and computer system validation.

o Support the development of validation procedures and practices with respect to the facility.
o Design validation studies and protocols for the facility and equipment in areas of qualification, cleaning validation, and computer system validation.
o Implement approved studies per required schedules.
o Coordinate resources required to complete validation studies and tests in a timely manner.
o Analyze test data and report issues/discrepancies. Lead and document investigations of failed validation test results.
o Write summary reports to summarize test results and investigations.
o Lead the effort to gain approval of validation protocols and summary reports.
o Maintain validation documentation program and appropriate control procedures.
o Support the review of new systems and modifications to existing systems to ensure designs comply with current validation standards and are able to be adequately validated and maintained within validated control.
o Maintain validation equipment and supplies to allow validation programs to be completed in a timely manner.
o Identify and raise issues with procedures, practices, and policies related to validation, equipment and processes.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:
• BS/BA in a Scientific, Engineering or computer related discipline
• 2 years of industry- related experience (Validation, QA, QC, manufacturing).

Preferred qualifications:
•Experience in validation or engineering in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
