As a member of this team YOU can be responsible for the provision of technical documentation support to project, delivery, engineering and operational resources within assigned projects and "business as usual activities", whilst ensuring compliance with GSK's policies, Quality Management Systems and with pharmaceutical regulatory procedures relating to documentation. This will require interaction with GSK personnel and selected 3rd party vendors at all levels to gather information, and the ability to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

_ The creation and maintenance of documentation under the direction of subject matter experts. This documentation includes Design Specifications, Requirements Specifications, Test Cases, Local Instructions, Technical Installation Procedures and other key iQMS deliverables such as Installation Reports and Test Records;

_ Ensuring that all documentation related policies and procedures are followed during the creation and maintenance of the documents;

_ Reviewing Installation Reports and Test Record outputs to ensure procedures have been followed by other subject matter experts and that the required level of documentation quality has been achieved.

_ Manage the documentation lifecycle and ensure period reviews and up versioning are completed in a timely manner.

_ Prepare documentation for and assist with both internal and external audits.

_ Provide advice/consultancy to others on document preparation and compliance with quality requirements.

_ Delivering high quality documentation.

_ Maintenance of SOPs/LINs for "fit for purpose".

_ Tracking time spent on individual projects and providing regular progress reports.

We are looking for people/professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

Experience in technical documentation quality assurance review

Experience of document management, incident management, trace management or configuration management

4 – 5 years of experience in Information Technology

Basic Understanding of ITIL

Confirmation of English language proficiency is required

Preferred qualifications:

oDocument creation and maintenance in a validated application or technical infrastructure environment

oExpert level specialist with Microsoft Word and Excel technologies

oExperience of authoring tools including Word to Macro level, PowerPoint and Visio.
