Supply Operations Lead
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of Planning/Logistics/Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment or similar industry
Degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Logistics
The purpose of this position is to supervise the Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping of all direct materials for the GMS Memphis manufacturing site.
1.Provide a clear vision of goals and expectations for the assigned people in the department and provide the tools and training required to meet those expectations.
2.Handle all elements of supervision including selection, salary planning, training, recognition, discipline, and performance appraisals.
3.Establish and implement functional metrics for measuring data integrity, individual accountability on key performance indicators.
4.Collaborate with cross functional departments; marketing, sales, production, engineering, and sourcing.
5.Provide reporting KPI measurements to management and leadership team.
6.Lead and manage production planning processes and develop/track KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), including generation and delivery of a weekly operating plan, with plan vs. actual analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in computer skills including use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, and manufacturing systems
- A high degree of flexibility and problem solving skills are required for effective performance in this roll.
